More than 93 percent of the nearly 21,000 Ohio educators from across the state who responded to the Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning (TELL) Ohio survey this spring believe that their schools provide sufficient communication and support to parents and their communities. In addition, 83 percent believe that students at their schools understand behavior expectations and 92 percent say that their faculty works in safe environments. These findings and other results of the survey indicate how educators rate eight teaching conditions associated with student achievement and teacher retention. Results are summarized in a Preliminary Findings report. Also, see details about all participant responses by accessing Survey Results here and clicking on the icon next to the word Ohio.
